Project for Awesome Featured at YouTube

Last year, YouTube was quite suprised when we took over the site…though I think it was a pleasant surprise. This year, they’ve actually decided to give us a hand. And they certainly did that!

With the front page feature, the Project for Awesome has reached an entirely new audience at YouTube. And while many of them seem to believe that I am gay, or on meth, many others agree with us, that it’s time for some awesome!

So here are some updates!

  1. Sorry to I.E. users, this site was broken…it is now fixed. Yay.
  2. The ever-clever Bill Martin has figured out how to make the thumbnail work for non-partners. Instructions can be found here.
  3. The thumbnail screenshots are online on that same page as well.
  4. We have confirmation of support from WhatTheBuck, TheHill88, LisaNova and more! Will you join their ranks?
  5. Any questions! Stick it in the comments!
  6. It is FREAKING COLD in Montana. Good thing the P4A is keeping me glued to this nice warm laptop :-D

I just happened to see this by chance, are you going to send an updated e-mail about the thumbnails to the nerdfighers? In the last one you said you were working on it and would get back to us. Good luck tomorrow!!

It’s freaking cold here in Ohio too. No better weather for sitting inside all warm and cozy, working your fingers down to nubs with commenting goodness.

Wow. That made very little sense.

    P4A is an amazing idea!
Unfortunately I heard about it so late that now I have no time to actually make a video. But next year I am definitely going to!

Oh, yeah. It’s freaking cold here in Ontario, too.

whats wrong with being gay, and why is it being associated with meth?

I’m in for the Red Cross, who helped me when my apartment burned out on Christmas Eve.

Quoted: “And while many of them seem to believe that I am gay, or on meth, …”

I’m sure (I hope) that you meant no offense by that statement, but it seems a rather unfortunate choice of words (as if to imply that being gay is somehow like being addicted to meth — something negative). I found it offensive (and I am not gay).

Really, I would recommend rethinking (read: rewrite immediately) that.
